Secondary Center Guidance
Mr. Butler is the Director of Guidance. He has been employed by the school district for 12 years. He is certified as a Secondary School Counselor and K-12 Principal. Mr. Butler oversees the implementation of the elementary, middle, and high school guidance programs. Since Mr. Butler is certified as a K-12 administrator he also acts as the backup LEA for students with Individual Education Plans (IEP) both in and out of the district. Mr. Butler serves as the secondary school counselor for students in grades 10-12 whose last name ends in S-Z.
Mrs. Ciampi is a Secondary School Counselor. She has been employed by the school district for 13 years. She is certified as a Secondary School Counselor. Mrs. Ciampi serves as the secondary school counselor for students in grades 10-12 whose last name ends in A-R.
Mr. Yatsko is a Secondary School Counselor. He has been employed by the school district for 7 years. He is certified as a Secondary School Counselor. Mr. Yatsko serves as the secondary school counselor for all students in grades 7-8-9.
West Side CTC Information
The West Side Career and Technology Center is a full-time comprehensive technology school serving students in grades 9 through 12 from five member districts (Dallas, Lake-Lehman, Northwest Area, Wyoming Area, and Wyoming Valley West). A complete academic curriculum compliments the 15 career-technical programs that lead to immediate career or college admission. Our integrated competency-based curriculum provides a quality educational community in which students will learn academic, career, technical, and soft skills necessary to prepare them to be contributing members of our society, skilled members of the workforce, and responsible life-long learners prepared to meet the
challenges of the 21st century.

Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late.
